The status of the release of the local area data for Mississippi will be discussed, along with our surrounding states Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The webinar will keep individuals updated on some key findings to date in regards to current Census data collected.

Finally, the webinar will provide tips and tricks on how best to access this data on data.census.gov and how to use the materials on the Economic Census web site.

This informative webinar will give the population a general idea of where the state of Mississippi stands with the current Census count and how we compare to our neighboring states. Let’s use this as motivation to challenge our fellow Mississippians to participate so we can ensure our voices are heard!

If you’ve already filled out your census, be sure to check-in and see if you can remind a family member or friend: after all, every single person in our state represents up to $50,000 in federal funding over the next 10 years! You can complete the census online, over the phone, or through the mail!

We’re all in this together! It only takes a few minutes to make a decade of impact! We’re counting on you, Mississippi! #MississippiCounts
